First we see this. ANTIWAR.COM:

Then, we read... this. CNN:

A journalist and anti-Syrian member of Lebanon's parliament was killed Monday morning when a massive car bomb exploded in an eastern Beirut suburb, opposition officials said.... [*]

Either Bashir Assad is an idiot who didn't learn his lesson. Or...given that he maybe didn't do the first one, the US is the idiot.

Can I help it if I suspect the latter?
