ALITO ADMITS TO SPLIT PERSONALITY
(Washington) US Senator Diane Feinstein said today that Supreme Court nominee Joseph "Scalito" Alito claimed he was a different person in 1985 when he wrote that he believed there was no constitutionally-protected right to an abortion.
"'It was different then'," Feinstein quoted Alito as saying. "'I was an advocate seeking a job, a political job and that was 1985'."
A forensic psychologist who examined these remarks stated today that Alito might well believe that, but if so was well down the road to psychiatric hospitalization.
"It starts with compartmentalization, goes further into denial of responsibility and soon there's a full fledged split personality going on," he stated.
However, that need not disqualify him from the nation's highest court, stated the expert.
"Look, we have Clarence Thomas, a paranoid delusional type, Scalia,a borderline personality, Ruth Ginsburg a kleptomaniac, and now John Roberts, a smiling sociopath. He should fit right in."
"On the other hand," he concluded, "Once he's in, the country is toast."
