BACK ONLINE?
The Iguana's webhost suspended his account after a denial of service attack on Wednesday amounting to some 58000 hits according to the site tracker on the host. (They didn't show up on sitemeter though.)
As Mel Gibson said in Conspiracy Theory, "If they're trying to kill me, I must have said something right".
I think what it was was the posting on the US registered cars used as car bombs in Iraq just below.
Thanks to all the concerned readers who wrote to me over the last few days for keeping my spirits up. One suggested to create a mirror site for such occaisions. Anyone up for that?
Meanwhile here's what I tried to post over the last couple days:
BUSH'S TERROR PLOTS UTTER B.S.
Think Progress points out that only two of the ten cases have any factual basis and the rest are "classified" [*]. Of the two, the Jose Padilla case, I have already discussed how it is complete BS [*]. I don't know about the other one.
But I do know that 5 of the other 8, were airline hijackings, which is absurd on its face. The reason is that days after 9-11, the FAA changed the procedures which allowed the hijacking to happen, i.e., having the pilot leave the cockpit to negotiate with terrorists. Plus the cockpit door is barred as well.
There is no way terrorists can hijack a plane and crash it into a building. The pilots will crash it first. Somehow I suspect that if the Iguana knows that, Al Qaeda does too.

FLASH: HARRIET MIERS NOT GAY
But she's oh so French. Fearing the G-word and trying to shore up born-again support BushCo trotted out Mier's longtime "good friend" jurist Nathan Hecht. LA TIMES:
..."We are good, close friends," he said Friday. "And we have been for all these years. We go to dinner. We go to the movies two or three times a year. We talk. And that's the best way to describe it. We are not dating. We are not seeing each other romantically. Not currently."...... Sharon Baird, a friend of Miers since they both played on the tennis team at Hillcrest High in Dallas, called Miers' life decisions "very European."... [*]
I don't know if European style shacking up will go over so well in Jesus Land either. Posted by cosmici at 07:21 AM | Comments (0)
